Job Responsibilities
5 hours spent each day in maintaining and developing blackboard
course sites for instructors on UIC campus. Also, supporting
them with any technical needs or difficulties they encounter.

Job Requirements
Overall, it is good. It gives exposure to practical business
scenario in many classes. It helps you depict the difference
between the book and actual business world outside.
Instructors are good and have appropriate knowledge. Also, their
techniques of teaching are good.
Sometimes, it is difficult to get popular classes, but most of
the times, there is no problem. Classrooms are big and have
technical infrastructure.
Grading of the professors depends on the professor. There are
various types of grading and I feel that it is fine. I have not
come across any professor, tho is really strict or very generous
in grading.
Sometimes, I feel that the workload is too much, if a student
takes 3 or more classes as professors start giving a lot of work
in the last one month of the semester and it becomes too hectic
for a student to handle, if he/she is working in the day,
whether full time or part time.

Uppers
Job is not at all strenuous. It is easier as compared to other jobs. If you love
technology, this is the best pace to work. Gives a lot of exposure to new
technologies in the market and keeps you in touch with all the new changes in IT
industry.
Bosses are cool and flexible enough. They are friedly and understands you. It
has less promotion chances though as there are very positions people work on.

Lifestyle
Lifestyle is ok. You do not become a part of affluent neighbourhood, but can
live happily within your means. There is no travel involved. There is no dress
code, but you need to wear something and come to office :)
Sometimes, birthdays are celebrated and enjoyed together. No other social events.

Just love what you do. This job is basically for the technology
lovers.
