Job Responsibilities
Overseeing the resposible and fuctions in the operations of the mail room / receiveing Dept. Everyday 8 hr.job which is an is very important, financilly. Making sure that the Admininstration facilites are functioning well and the associates needs are met to their satisfaction. Other resposibilites is to know how to work with vendors of all types and read blue prints if needed. Operate equipment such as a postage machine, folding unit, fed- ex, U.P.S., D.H.L systems. Know how to repair, construct and be machanical plus electrial/electronic exspert when system fail.
Job Requirements
You must have a highschool graduated certicate, A.A.Graduate certicate in college or better. You need to be educated in industrial electical and eletronics plus receive a certicate of completsion. Have a mechanical background training weather in a trade school or during hichschool/college. Be prepared for changes and ajust to new equipment. Learn all you can on the operations of the computer to see you thought your new job because its a most for all industrial purposes. Have exsperiance in drywalling,construction,plumbing,electrical (as I mentioned before) and facilities mechanic like I use to be, before I became a Facilities Coordinator (its almost close to a supervisor/manager in the field I have) which takes many years to get to that point. Been with the same field of business for 23 years now. Its been worth the wait now that I'm older and now a pencil pusher sort of speak. If your lucky the company you would work for will help you with your education if it fit into their needs for the good of the company and your position.
Uppers
It good training for a person to know what I just memtioned and the rewards are fare more then you will ever know. It will sure you if you want to (if you are still young)build your own home or add on to an existing home. It will help you in any type of problem around you daily lives. Learn all that you can even if you have a hobby that might fit the companys needed, you will never know unless you ask if your talent can be used.

I have now downers in this profession because it will fellow you in any job field that you may come across.
Lifestyle
There is some travel involed in this business, some more than others. Dress code is casual or depends if your maintance then its a uniform (blue Collar style). I use to be that, but now it more dress business style without a tie. There is social events when the company buts one on which sometime we have the big wigs out to intertain.
Compensation
In this company I make a good amount of money (which I had to fight for) and the company gives good benefits like life insurance, dental, stock, 401-k, pension, Depending on how long you work for the company a person can get 75% of health insurance weather honorable discharge from the company or retirement for life. There is other benefits that will come later.

The job outlook for Bausch & Lomb is been very good since they have been in business for 150 years and doing better since 911. Learn whatever you can in any type schooling you are or you should be in. Study the Company that you want to join and know about them if you are interviewed. Be positive in you dealings and honest towards yourself and those you come in contact with. Have a resume in the jobs that you have work for and start earlly in life and plan ahead before you reach for the stars. I hope this will help.
