Job Responsibilities
Supervise teller line at bank. Buying and selling money,
balancing cash drawers, auditing vault, atm and teller drawers. Customer
service. Making sure that the customer is serviced like hometown banking, and
that the workflow goes smoothly.

Job Requirements
Worked in the medical field for years. Then received my Criminal Justice Degree
but due to health could not presue a career or further education.
Looked for new career and hope to continue to climb career ladder in banking and
finance.

Uppers
The best part of my job are the client's that use our branch. Though we are in
an area of town where you would expect a class of clientele that would be uppity,
yet they are so friendly, warm and it's like one large family on this part of the
beach.

Late hours and first time I have worked Saturdays in many many years.

Lifestyle
I took a huge pay cut for this position, but wanted a new career where there was
a ladder of opportunity to climb. They dress down because of the hometown beach
theme. Hours are routing from 8:30 to 5 or 9:30 to 6 then every other Saturday
7:30 to 12.

Compensation
The compensation is terrible but new career you have to start somewhere 1/2 of
my normal pay, so I get $12.50 per hour. After 1 years company sponsored pension
plan.

Advice to Jobseekers
That you would really have to bite the bullet financial in the beginning but
apply yourself 100% and shoot for the top position, President.
