Job Responsibilities
Ordering products, selling products, filling prescriptions, promoting sales, preparing deliveries... these are done everyday for however long I work.
Job Requirements
The work load is fairly large for any one person to handle sometimes. We do get trained in Blood Borne Pathogens courses.
Uppers
Working with many people and helping people.
Downers
There's too much to get done with only one person working, gets very stressful at times.
Lifestyle
I work about 20 hours every two weeks because I am in school as well. We do get some PTO and store parties are always a plus. We aren't allowed to wear T-shirts, jeans or open toed shoes.
Compensation
I know people who work at fast food places for more than what I make. $6.88 an hour... we do get a raise of about 3% every year up to a certain point.
Advice to Jobseekers
Don't do it unless you like getting paid so little. It's good for a first job.
