Job Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the journals publishing department. Monitor performance or problems in circulation, production, and marketing functions. Communicate with, copyeditors, printers, editorial offices, authors. Look for additional revenue streams from published materials.
Job Requirements
The publishing industry is in a period of great change. Awareness of current events is required. Education is on-going but a Bachelor degree is required for most positions. Graphic design or editing experience is a plus.
