MBA Kellogg School of Management.
I only had excellent classes. The program is very flexible and
thus can be easily adapted to the needs of students and their
intented career. The workload is adaptable to what you whish to
do but a minimum effort is required to get your degree (Kellogg
is a top 10 Bschool).
If you plan ahead, it is relatively easy to get into many great
classes. A limitation is that too many of the fantastic classes
are offered in the Fall of your second year only which reduces
your options.

Uppers
The best part about production management is implementing strategic goal and
motivating your teams. You really get to work on your interpersonal / group
skills if you want to be successful in this environment.

Downers
You can be trapped easily in the day to day tasks and forget to
back up and perform a Big picture analysis of the situation.

Lifestyle
Reasonable hours. Almost no travel. Dress code is casual or business casual at
most.

$65,000.

Advice to Jobseekers
The demand for managers in this area is high: this is not a
popular choice.
Be prepared to work in teams, listen to your team and to learn
how to motivate them, this will definitely be the biggest part
of your job. A good news for ambitious folks: Guess how
transferable this skill is once you have it!
