Lifestyle
Lifestyle is casual dress; stress and pressure to get extensive progects done in
a short period of time. There is no diversity in responsibilities. It can be
boring if not interested in the subject matter. There is no business travel.
There are monthly social events for the entire department (but attendance is
optional) and you must get the work done within a 40 hour week.

Compensation
The base pay is based on past experience, semi-entry level. No
bonuses are given. There are no stock options unless you have
worked there for five years. Benefits are 80/20 at best and you
pay 75% of the cost of insurance, i.e. the monthly premium is
$471 and you pay $350 per month.

the Federal Labor Standards Act, and amendments. This change was
made as of August 23, 2004, which changed the legal Assistant or
Paralegal job from exempt to non-exempt by the revised Job
Classificatioon by the Federal government.
