Job Responsibilities
I'm in charge of relations with suppliers, subcontrators and
reducing costs on a private telecommunication network deployment
project (64??M).
Receiving these partners in meeting represents 50% of my time.
Looking for possibilities to reduce costs with my technical
colleagues : 40%.
The 10 remaining percents represents mainly administrative work.

Job Requirements
The minimum academic level required is a MA for such position.
The Hiring process was really long. I was received 4 times by :
- HR responsible
- Corporate HR Manager
- General project Manager
- EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Afica) Operational Manager.
Above that process I performed 3 tests :
- Personality
- English
- Spanish.
Before I was responsible for more sales-oriented relations with
the clients on an other Telecommunication integrator, but not big
enough to produce its own products, as Alcatel.

Uppers
As an international company (NYSE, CAC40), I've got a lot of opportunities to
work abroad. That way I encountered a lot of international manager (Finland, UK,
France, USA). As an example, I met a Chinese colleague in Paris just yesterday
and we were both teaching our native respective languages.

Been a part of the telecommunication market can be a problem as
we seen in 2000th.
As the telecom demand shrank in these years, employee number was
divided by 2 in the whole telecom industry.

As all the big company, Alcatel is organized to be the most effective.
Depending your position, you'll be in an open space or a personal office.

Compensation
Annual Base salary : 35000 Euro (47250US$)
Bonus : 3000 Euro (4050US$)
1Euro =1,35US$ (for the moment)
