Job Responsibilities
Each day I do the same thing witch is to crane up a can witch is a 16-40mm sheet steel witch has been rolled in to a can weighing about 3- 12 tonnes. Then I join the 2 cans making adjustment to make the can level to the other can once that is done I will weld it with a mig welder I would repeat this process 3-4 times a night as I work afternoon shift witch is 4 pm till 4 am.
Job Requirements
At lease year 11 as well as going to trade school for 4 years.
Uppers
The fun and enjoyment when each job has been completed.
Downers
Welding fumes and is also a dirty job.
Lifestyle
Work hours are 12 hour days 5 days a week 8 hours on Saturday.
Compensation
Pay is $23/hr 38 hrs a week 7.6 hr per day and penalties after that time and a half first 3 hours a day and double time there after.
