Job Responsibilities
This is a newly formed multi media company/lifestyle company. I build solid contacts based on knowledge and experience, useful in creating the right path, thus synergizing concrete marketing solutions in the realm of entertainment as a whole.
Job Requirements
From class to actual real life business experience, I have learned that you are what you aim to become with a solid understanding of the way things function, and reaching that conclusion by placing an aspect like marketing to a dynamic like entertainment, which has showed me requires a whole lot more than the average eye can expect.
Uppers
It is an internship that leads towards the development of my production company which bares many different services, catering to many demends of today's ever growing youth oriented market.
Downers
Doing promotions and providing marketing solutions can be mentally and physicaly exhausting. Putting up a poster, to engaging in conversation towards the subject I am promoting, can be an effort worth tetious, creating a cluster of abso;ute career positions in the attempt of an ultimate goal. I m a people person, but to create original, authentic solutions for a situation and company, I ve learned that you can t do it all your self, and must learn to appreciate the fact that a strong honest team of employees can factor better results in less time than expected.
Lifestyle
Stay Focused. Be willing to learn every angle that might present itself to your situation, and the effect it might bring allong with it. Also, understand people, and understand bullshit when you see it. Here is a great saying I always tell myself and everyone. I learned it while I worked for Sony Pictures: There are three types of people in this world 1)One's who make it happen 2)One's who watch things happen 3) & then there's one's who ask the question "what the fuck just happened?"
Compensation
I get paid according to what assignment I accept in my given market, some time 300 dollars for a couple weeks work for a paramount motion picture, and sometime 500 dollars for implementing creative metions of promotions for Washington Mutual and their efforts to get college students to join up with their bank, and ultimately open up an account. A Step Ahead Productions is slowly coming together, not wanting to jump in the pool without knowing how to swim, and so recieve free lance jobs that vary in salary, depending on what the case may be, wether it be throughing an appealing event full of authenticly picked music from the right musicians, to consulting magazines like Freeskier Magazine in effectively implementing cross promotions towards their new novelty sport that has potential to keep gaining attention.
