Interviews are arranged through the corporate staffing department. Once
your resume is accepted at that level, the interview process begins with
the brand which has the appropriate opening. I interviewed first with
the 3 Directors I would be assisting. Once completing that round of
interview I was interviewed by the Sr. Vice President as I would become
a part of his team. I was also evaluated by his Assistant and the Sr.
Admin. Assistant for the 3 Directors based on personality and impression
to be sure that the three of us would work well together and get along
well. I thought this was a great addition to the process. It was an
opportunity to just converse with the other two girls about non-business
related issues and get a feel for each other's personalities. This
meant that I knew before going into the job, who I would be working
closely with and if it felt right. Here once you are in, you become a
part of the family so to speak and yes, this term is specifically used
by my team on a regular basis. The group sees themselves as a family.
