The future of the San Francisco corporate group is unclear. It's going
through some turnover and changes right now. Wilson Sonsini remains
one of the most highly regarded firms in the Silicon Valley and Bay
Area though and continues to recruit some of the best and brightest law
students in the country. Many jump to other opportunities with three
to five years of joining the firm, but that is also a testament to the
fact that WSGR attorneys get great opportunities elsewhere.
Morale of associates tends to be low... we're either working too hard
or not enough. There is very rarely a comfortable middle ground.
