There was a general two day interview session in which 6 potential
hirees were given a series of tests and scenarios that was run by HR.
Those who did well in this session were then brought to the millsite
for one on one with the department manager, business unit manager and
mill manager. The questions asked were general response to different
problems, worker intervention, personality issues and lastly a written
response to a problem that occurred. One area that was focused on was
multi and time tasking in which an individual went through an inbox and
had to address the issues within an alloted time. Many times the
answer was further down in the box. The potential employee also had to
deal with confrontation with a disgruntled co-worker and then a manager.
The final interview was at the millsite as well and had the department
manager give a facility tour and a general job tour. The two then sat
down to discuss salary, job expectations etc. The offer was made
verbally with written confirmation sent two days later. Expenses were
covered by the company including all moving and real estate expenses.
