| Sales/Sourcing Representative II |
I submitted a resume with a standard employment application for
Weyerhaeuser. I was called in by the manager and interviewed by the
manager, a receptionist, and a mill buyer. I was asked why I wanted to
work there, what my expectations of the job were, and why I thought I
could do it. (See enema response above) I was also asked about working
with my spouse, as he was the current Operations manager, but would not
be my supervisor. I didn't see that as an issue, as he and I had worked
on the same ship in the Coast Guard years before that. I was then given
a math skills and logic test that I passed and received an offer in the
mail three days later. I did challenge the salary, but was told by the
manager that the offer stood as written, so I accepted it as an
opportunity for a career change.
