Wellington prides itself on its corporate culture, and with good
reason. Despite the starchy blue suit exterior, WMC is a warm and very
congenial place to work. It seems that if you make it to a management
position, chances are high that you'll be there for atleast a decade.
Another great thing about WMC is the benefits poackage; it's the best I
have ever heard of. Coming from a publishing division that allowed me
to take classes in graphic design and art history (i didn't hae time for
Italian classess), and being able to grab a sizeable bonus in 2002 made
it hard to leave. On the flip side, despite their claims to be non-
hierarchichal there is a strong beauracracy that in some teams takes time
(and a lot of schmoozing) to break. But all in all, WMC is a class act.
