My position required one interview with the department supervisor. It
was very informal and relaxed. There was nothing in the interview that
was atypical or unexpected. After that, it took a little longer than I
expected as far as a response, but this may have been d/t my salary
request. An acceptable offer was made, and I was very pleased that I was
able to get detailed benefit information (as far as cost of insurance,
etc) during the interview process in order to help me make the decision
to work there. It's been my experience that it is sometimes frowned upon
by other employers if you inquire as to the share of cost with health
insurance and other benefits.
