The internal hiring process was very easy. It consisted of submitting
and internal application along with a resume. An internal candidate was
assured of being considered for the position, although preference was
not given to an internal vs. an external. The initial contact was
always with the recruiter so they could weed out the candidates. If you
made it past the recruiter, the next step was with the hiring manager.
They usually wanted to know about your employment history and why you
feel you'd be a fit for this position. There was usually on one round
of interviews with the hiring manager before they would make a
selection from their pool of candidates.
