Current pay rate is8.81 an hour. With premium payments for specific duties of up
to an additional 1.75 an hour.
Previous pay rate was 8.21 an hour, with no premiums to speak of.
Original base salary was 6.50 an hour starting in 2000. First raise was recieved
in 2002 to 7.65 an hour.
The most recent pay increase was to 8.81 an hour. raises are awarded annually
based on seniority. All raises are given in September of the current year,
regardless. This is a new change...previously raises were given on the
anniversary of the individual employees hire date. Employee benefits are
sufficient, but could be better. Pay rate is not
the best in the world. Recent contart negotiations have pretty much made
things terrible for the employees regarding health care wages, etc.
