Corporate culture (Burbank was HQ) was very much entertainment indudtry
culture. Relative youth, big money and big egos. Not a family
environment at corporate. Overall culture reflected a "I don't care what
you have done, what are you going to do for me today" approach. Very
people insensitive. Effort was made to court gay community in
management, but little in the way of minority or Hispanic participation
in the seniore levels, so those perspectives were missing.
Very strong age bias toward youth of staff.
Probably would be a great place to get heavy experience in the various
entertainment industry segments, but not very good for mid career jobs.
Very much a "who do you know" environment for progression.
Generally very low ethical standards and no moral committment evident in
day to day operations.
Cult of the personality very prevalent at senior levels, with an amazing
amount of politics and infighting.
