The only reason why I stayed as long as I did was because I needed the money. Women were bad-mouthed, ridiculed and looked down upon, no matter what position they held. Anything beyond baking brownies and watering the plants was considered "sassy" by management. The only female in any kind of position of authority wasn't taken seriously in the least bit. Two and a half years of that place was more than I could take anymore and I'm glad I'm no longer employed there.
