buzy on someday. take the three days before school starts back up you
would think its was christmas or the friday after Thanksgiving poeple
waiting in long lines and buying up the store, and messing it up pretty
good too, leaving us to pick up behind grown folks. But you get to
meet and see different culture and race every day. And working in the
jewlery
dept. you get to meet all kind of people of all ages my hours are 4-11
so I get the people who just got off of work and rushing to get dinner
and very impatient and tied, because they had to stop at walmart to pick
up a last minute gift and they would try on every thing we have.
the dress code for us is semi professional no jeans only on Fridays and
they have many opportunity for advancement. They hire many different
people, the handicap, the elders and many many races.
pirecing ear is another part of my job working in jewlery department,
and its fun and you can tell Who the real babies are when they come in i
always tell them that I don't want to here any holling, up in here and
see any crying in here and those are the grown men. We replaces watch
batteries and take links out of watch bands put on new watch bands for
the customer, We are a real customer service company, We sell alot of
tongue rings and bellybutton rings and I enjoy talking the the customer
who is thinking about getting a tongue ring, because they saw mine and
wanted to know did it really hurt, and how to take care of it when you
first get one, now even though we don't pirece tongue at walmart, just
they ears. people will still buy the tongue ring anyways just so they
can go and get it done after talking to me about it. But the best part
of this job is helping someone find the perfect gift for their older
elder mom or dad or fasmily member or a child looking for that pefect
and meaningful gift to surprise someone,for their birthday thatwill
show how much they care.
