We are currently experiencing some challenges in our industry with the
conversion to digital televison - purchasing necessary equipment and
publicizing the program service(s). As a non-profit, we are constantly
looking for the funds to keep improving and replacing equipment, and
keep talented staff from seeking more money in the for-profit sector.
We offer flexible schedules limited to late arrival at 9 am with a
working lunch to leave at 5 pm in my department. The dress code is
pretty much wear what suits your position - my philosophy is to dress
for the position you want to have. We don't allow backless attire or
bare shoulders and only allow shorts for outdoor events. The
opportunities for advancement vary department to department. In the 6
years I've been here, I've come up through the ranks, but I've seen
others stay right where they are because there is no "up" in their area.
