For the past 20 years, working at Grace has been mostly a positive
experience. In most cases we treat each sector of the corporation as an
individual business. Frankly that's the way it has to be. Someone from
Florida or New England would have difficulty dealing with culture, day
to day business in Seattle. Or worse Vancouver. Grace is a very diverse
company. It has a number of divisions in the construction products area.
Even the diversity of each division limits the monotony. The hours are
flexible. Accomplishing the tasks at hand is the focus. Dress code is to
be presentable to those whom you work with and whom are the customers.
Opportunities for advancement may be the least exciting, just because
with this corporation it means a move to eastern US or Canada. Most
westerners arn't excited about heading in that direction.
