As a consumer, I continue to shop at Victoria's Secret Beauty. I have
observed that in the last two years, they have released fewer products
than they did in the nine months of my employment with the
organization. They offer a unique opportunity to a consumer who is
turned off by the traditional cosmetic counter at a department store,
but who needs more personal assistance than a distributor such as
Sephora can offer. The new store designs are phenomenal, and they have
always offered one of the most sophisticated and appealing marketing
programs in all of retail. The Victoria's Secret name brand enjoys
almost universal recognition among women in our country. The business
outlook for such an organization should be excellent. Based on the
reports I get for my stock, I believe the jury remains out on whether or
not VSB will realize its potential.
