| Relationship Sales Engineer IV |
Base Salary: $87,500
Commissions (based on 100% attainment of quota goals): $32,500
Total: $120,000
Essentially, for every point of quota you retire, in this position, you
get
$325. After meeting your quota, you get about $500 per point. It's not
a lot
compared to other sales organizations, so I hear, but it's also not
nearly as
high pressure.
Employee stock purchase plan
100% matching upto 4%, then 50% matching for the next 2% in the 401k
There's
also a pension plan they pay ino for you which is separate
11 holidays
2 weeks vacation first five years with ability to carry over (the 10 year
veterans average between 4-5 weeks per year)
4 personal days
$5650 in tuition payments
Free local phone service
discounts on most products
20% discount on wireless service
25% discount on wireless phones
Lots of corporate purchase agreements giving employees discounts at other
retailers: Dell, HP, Staples, American Express travel, etc.
Health plan is really quite good: I'm single, under 30 and pay $3.00 per
month
(that is not a typo). The guy in the next cube pays $50/month for
health and
$25/month for dental for his family: wife and two kids. The plan is
provided by
United Health Care and is a PPO. (to give you an idea of how good it
is, it
covered my buddy's wife when she went in for fertility treatments, THREE
TIMES!
That's close to $50k they covered.)
I think most people agree that Verizon has really outstanding benefits.
