VERITAS has a great product suite and very good brand equity in the
storage software industry. That places it very well in the sector.
The engineers that the company employs are its biggest strength.
Weakness:
1. Product offerings not integrated. Leads to a kludgy experience
deploying and managing the VERITAS product stack.
2. Management is confused about product strategy. Working and then re-
working and then tossing it all up to re-work the strategy again -
Leads to increasing time-to-market and loses competitive edge in
marketplace.
