Valero is a place where the people truly mean as much to the brass as
the bottom line. They really do see that you can't have a good return
if you don't have good people. Valero takes such good care of its
employees and their families, not to mention the time and effort we all
put into helping the local communities, I've never met one person who
ever thought about leaving the company. There is no other company plan
to match what Valero does for the workers. NONE! The attitude and the
atmosphere that comes from the top down, speads like wildfire. New
hires or people at newly purchased plants are floored when they see the
friendly, casual way long term Valero people act. We truly love working
for Bill Greehey and this company.
