You started off with a hiring salary that was decent. It was above the
minimum
wage of NYS. There were raises given each year. They were not
performance based
but set. Your vaction time incresed with every year you worked there.
One very
nice thing was you were gven so many days off that were called after
the fact
days. Which meant that you could take the day off with out any excuse,
validation
or advanced notice. It was nice knowing that you had those days to take
off even
if you were not sick and not have to call and pretend to be sick. If
you did call
in sick and did not have any after the fact days left then you needed a
written
doctor's note to excuse you for the day. They did have a very nice
health plan.
You had many choices to choose from which was great. They also had a
401k plan
which was nice. You were able to pick if you wanted your stock for the
401k into
a fixed or variable plan.
