While I worked for Valeo it was not a great work environment. Though we
did have a union things were not always done correct. It was just like
politics. People did what they wanted and the union did not always back
you up. I became pregnant while working there and was treated like
there
was something wrong with me. My boss was always trying to ship me to
another department like I was disable in some way to do my job. I know
I
was not the only one this happened to either. Another women in the
department next to the one I worked in had the exact same thing happen
to her. You were pretty much doomed to work the b-
shift hours unless you had worked there for 20yrs. or more. And there
was no chance of advancing. However the dress code was very casual
which
was very nice. You could really wear what ever you wanted. The
diversity
of the company was wide spread. People of all ages or ethnic backround
worked there.
