I interviewed with 5 different people, a human resource person, two
supervisors, a manager, and the VP of Information Technology. Most
questions were about the resume and about me as a person. It was pretty
easy and low-key. They are mostly concerned with your logic score. If
you do well on that you have a high probability of getting hired. There
was only one technical question: What is the difference between a class
and a structure? From everyone I talked to in the company, everyone is
asked this question. It doesn't really matter if you answer it correctly
however. The other questions are typical. What are your goals? What
technical magazines do you read? Tell me about yourself.
I had to go back three different times for the interviews. It took about
three months to get hired.
It is important to convey that you do not smoke and that you are
athletically inclined. They want to know that you will participate in
company activities and that you are healthy. You should also convey that
you are very conservative, prefer to wear a suit, and prefer to work for
a private company rather than a public corporation. This last point is
very important is may the primary reason I got the job.
