Job Title Workplace Survey
Examiner There is an apparent barrier among the different divisions in the office. There is tension and a lack of teamwork, in general, between attorneys and examiners. There was a noticeable shift in the organizational structure and employee-management relationships when the agency was suddenly in the headlines and granted a major budget increase. A new employee performance system was implemented and favoritism was allegedly made by employees. The name of the agency may be prestigious and the recent pay hike attractive, but overall, the professional relationship with supervision was inadequate, occasionally hostile, and hypocritical. A lack of training that applied specifically to one's job made the conditions more difficult. It is not an agency I think is employee friendly, but a training school to further one's career elsewhere.
