Environmental scientist Process of hiring is a several step process of making an application of many pagesattached is a resume. The candidate is ranked against the hiring criteria written in the job description. If the candidate scores high in the ranking against other candidates, the top three candidates get an interviw. Veterans are preferanced before all others. I ranked #! for all jobs in the catagory. I was interviewed by one person and three weeks later offered a job. 1.5 months later I went to work. My eventual supervisor was the interviewer. The questions related to interest in what fields I was interested in and my knowledge of environmental chemistry issues as they relate to EPA's mission.
