Attorney OGC is a great place to work. The attorneys are real people with real lives and outside interests. All have stellar resumes (many educated at the "Ivies") or other top tier colleges and law schools. There are a good number of former DOJ lawyers here as well as lawyers who formerly worked at top national law firms. The biggest negative is government pay which lags at least 30% behind the private sector. By DC and New York standards the pay differential is even greater. However, that said, the quality of life factor is very important as well as working on issues which have a national impact and are often newsworthy issues is amazing.
