Job Title Interview Survey
General Engineer The employment process started with about 1 1/2 days of paperwork, followed by three interviews in rapid succession. I had to provide copies of my college diploma, transcripts, birth certificate, and other forms, and after all was said and done, I was sworn in. Then the first interview was with an ancient manager, who dumped a pile of fuze parts on the table and proceeded to ask questions while watching to see if you could assemble bomb fuzes. I was next interviewed later that day for a position which required detailed knowledge of optics, which were way out of my league. My third interview involved "the mechanics of explosives." They don't teach that to underclassmen at most colleges, so I had to fall back on some anicdotal information I had come across in the library, combined with some answers to my youthful questions of "what my dad did during the Korean War."
