When you start out at UPS your salary is $9.00 an hour then after your probation
period is up you get a raise. After your there a year you get 1 week vacation and
1 week option days to be taken when your sick. Then every year after that you get
anouther week for every year your there up to 10 weeks. Plus you get a raise. If
during the year you don't use up your option days you get a check for all the
option days left. At the end of the year they give you a bonus check for 1 days
pay for every year your there. Plus they also give you a turkey for christmas. At
UPS .com you can buy stock option at a 10% discount. UPS is a union shop so it
looks out for there employees if you are injured then the union makes sure you
have a job to come back to when you recover, also if there are any problems
between you and managment. And one last thing every month there is an incentive
for working safe. If the area your working in goes 30 days without an injury then
they have a hamburger cookout and 90 days gets you steakes.
