Job Title Workplace Survey
Package Car Driver It is by far the worst experience of my life. UPS has absolutely no devotion to their own whatsoever. It's the most hostile work envirorment I have ever been in. They thrive on dicontentment. No UPS employee is happy. I spent 17 years as a package car driver and my division manager had my manager fire me for calling the center instead of calling a cell phone. I lost my job over a phone call, and it stuck. I think it is also a reflection of how weak the union is that represents us. UPS has a double standard. It also shows what poor judgement they demonstrate when promoting their people. It's very difficult to respect your manager when you he's an arrogant lazy person. I wish Fed Ex all the best. UPS will never survive unless they learn to treat their people with dignity and respect they so willingly deserve.
