Wages are competitive with the rest of the industry, but my salary is currently
at less than 85% of the company's base wage for my position. This is regradless
of the fact that I was rated at an acceptable level in my latest review. There
are no year-end bonuses given in this company. Raises for the past few years
have
been extremely low or nonexistant, due to the current economy. The company
provides a good benefits package, including multiple health plans, dental,
vision, short and long term disability, life insurance, flexible medical
spending
accounts, 50% matched 401k, and a stock purchase plan. Unisys currently
reimburses for up to $5,000 per year for education (tuition only), down from
$7,000 in 2003. Paid vacation starts at 2 weeks per year, and 50% of that may be
carried over to the next year.
