I came to Earth Tech as a result of my former company being acquired.
As a firm, it has grown tremendously in recent years, mostly through
acquisition. As a result, it seems to be unsure what to do with some of
it's offices, and there have been many layoffs in the past couple of
years in this office. The staff is diverse, as you would expect from a
NYC company, however top management in this office is entirely white and
male. Hours are 8:00 to 5:00, but unpaid overtime is expected. Dress
is business, although we have dress casual in summer. We have been
reorganized several times in the past year, and no one seems sure of the
route to advancement right now. That may change once they get our role
figured out, as I believe it is clearer in other locations.
