I had 1 interview with the head of my division. Prior to the
interview,
we had briefly met, and I had delivered my Resume, transcripts and
three
letters of reference to the interviewer. Also, prior to the interview,
the interviewer and I had spoken several times by telephone and we had
communicated several times via email. The interviewer, also, had, in
advance of the interview, an essay I had written on my philosophy of
education and my teaching techniques. The essay was required, as a
part
of the job application process. The interview lasted
approximately 2 hours. I cannot recall any specific interview
questions, but we spent a great deal of time discussing my approach to
teaching and my overall learning philosophy. The interview was very
relaxed and forthright.
