I was offered a base salary of $42,900 with a signing bonus of $3K to be received after 30 days of employment. I was told that my current salary was that of a Sr. Specialist (which I was not qualified for). The HR rep. told me that the learning curve to become a Sr. Specialist was 18 - 24 mnth track and I could be promoted within that time to get my current salary back. Although, I liked the company and job opportunity was great I rejected the offer of employment.
