When I was interviewed for the position, the salary was $25,000 but
negotiable. When I took the job, they offered to start me at $26,000
with full benefits. When I left 1.5 years later my salary was up to
28,000. I was allowed to take 1 week vacation after 1 year but they
gave it to me after 3 months of employment. I elected to take my
vacation a month and half later because I was getting married. They
gave it to me and we agreed that vacation would be taken again after 1
year. The vacation was a paid one and they even threw me a little
bridal shower which made me realize what kind of people I was working
with. After a year, they were willing to pay for the mileage and the
gas since I lived about 54 miles away but by that time the drive and the
traffic was wearing me out.
