Greed. TeleTech is under contract with Nextel, and Nextel calls the
shots. Nextel has NO regard for TeleTech's employees because it doesn't
have to have any regard. It requires TeleTech to adhere to harsh
attendance policies that often result in good agents being fired,
despite legitimate medical reasons for their absence. TeleTech is
constantly hiring and training new agents for this reason. It is such a
waste to lose valuable employees simply because they've had the
misfortune to have illnesses that required them to be absent from work.
