The company that I work for is really a great company. It is a very
professional atmosphere for a call center. The management is really
down to earth and work hard to make us all feel comfortable. The Unit
development leaders oversee teams of 15 - 20 employees. The company
does a lot of activities to break up the monotony of the job. There
are lots of contests and opportunities to receive a bonus. They
celebrate Birthdays monthly. It is a failry diverse work environment.
I work with all ages from 18 to 73. There are also several different
races from white, to black, asian, english, indian, navtive american,
and latino. There are also people from all walks of life working
there. There are people with physical handicaps, moms, dads and
college students. The hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. They are
reasonable considering it is a call center. They are also very
flexiable with our schedules and working them around other things in
their employees personal schedules.The dress code is business casual.
We are not allowed to wear jeans and tennis shoes or logo t-shirts
except on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are allowed to wear sandals,
but no flip flops. We are also allowed to wear capri pants. There are
always lots of opportunities for advancement within Target. Atleast 3
times a month there are postings for new positions within the company
and department.
