Stagnant growth. TSYS spends most of it's time trading customers back
and forth in the credit industry with it's leading competitor, First
Data. The credit industry is mature. The company is somewhat looking
at
growing it's debit business, but management lacks direction and doesn't
allocate resources needed to grow it. Other new products and services
on
the drawing board are minor in nature.
Employee morale is very poor. It is considered to be one of the better
employers in this area of Georgia. That is one of the few positives
here. But management is too abusive of employees in workload and hours
spent on the job for the morale to change anytime soon.
