Job Title Interview Survey
Business Analyst In my last interview for an internal job posting, I had but one interview for this position -- which I did not get hired for -- but I understand they had many applicants so of course I was told in my let- down telephone call "they appreciated my time and interest, and will keep me in mind for any future opportunities." On the advice of a friend, I decided ask the hiring manager what I could do in the future to improve myself as a candidate for this kind of job, and she said 2 things; In the future, I should bring a pad of paper & pen, and take lots of notes (odd, since I was the one getting asked the questions, not her) and I should be more excited and not so laid-back during the interview (I told her that's the way I am). Apparently, she didn't bother to contact any one of the 3 strong personal references I provided her, as she would have found that out I'm generally a laid-back person).
