A SVP recently told me there have been a lot of changes- more tracking tools in place to follow and follow up on pipeline business. ST slowed down its acquitision rampage of the late 90's early 00's, but is currently a perfect size for an eventual merger or take over by a larger bank. Very conservative credit policy and atmosphere overall. Offers most all of products and services of larger banks, though geographic coverage area is smaller, focus on the Southeast. Overall morale was high, good benefits, understanding bosses. The biggest frustrations came from the bureacracy necessary to get things done.
