Don't even bother to apply. I've been with the Co for 30 years and I've
had 20 supervisors--do the math--one of the current CEOs always valued
mobility over ability so I survived a bunch of company moron-hillbillies
as management and they destroyed our UW experience. The only reason I'm
here is the poor economy and the amount of time I've invested. The
corporate culture is selfish, entitled and nepotism is rampant: they
are blind, ignorant of what's happening where it really counts: claims
and underwriting. They are closing offices all over the country to
support the 16,000 bodies of useless corporate fat in Bloomington, IL
(don't forget that they offshore a ton of business to India) and their
very uncertain foray into financial services, stealing auto and fire
premiums to fund this foray without permission of their policyholders
(wonder why your HO premiums went up 20%???)
