Interview questions
The interview is 10% technical and 90% HR. The 10% is very basic and
revolves around finance questions such as ROI, EVA, DCF e.t.c. General
finance stuff. The HR questions can get very tough. They give scenarios
and ask the candidate to give an example and how they performed in that
situation. An example would be: ??Give an example of how you influenced a
group of people and what was the thought process???. Some of the
questions get REALLY vague and you really have to think hard to come up
with a real life example!! However, if you have work experience and can
speak well, the interview should be a breeze. The main emphasis is on
being a fit within the organization rather than technical skill levels.
Hiring Process:
I got hired through the campus placement. They have a screening round,
where there will be quite a few candidates. Then the second and third
round is on campus (world headquarters). The first round is relatively
easy, but be sure to impress the interviewers with knowledge about the
company as well as being technically prepared. Second and third rounds
are a bit longer and the interviewers are typically managers or higher
levels. But the process is still the same.
