Pay stinks- have compared salary at Salary.com, only to find out my
company pays in the lower of 3 divisions (low, medium, high). We have
been slammed for the last 2 years because we are not hiring- therefore,
the people who have quit or gotten fired have not been replaced and
increase of work volume makes it hard on all employees. Have been with
Sprint for almost 12 years and have never even *seen* the CEO or VP in
person (or any other executives)- we are located in FL- not in HQ of
Kansas and we feel we are the "red headed stepchildren"- no one cares
about us. If you aren't in Kansas, no one seems to care. Hours are OK-
I have been with the company 12 years and can't get anything earlier
than 845-515 (earliest shift is 645-315). Everything is by seniority,
therefore the higher up employees stay and the lower seniority get fed
up working 1230-9 pm and quit (and no one is hired to help out
seniority either) so most are just stuck. My job is Dead End- again
because I am not in Kansas. My office you can basically wear anything-
jeans, flip flops, etc- since we never see customers, we can wear what
we wish- I have been at Sprint for 11 years and 200 hrs of flex bank
time- can use it in 1/4 hr increments- its vacation, sick time, etc. to
use whenever and however you wish.
