Job Title Business Outlook Survey
records tech The company is doing well so far they have managed to remain profitable through out the period following 9-11. They need to wake up and realize that the competion has finally gotten the message about their business model and is getting it down fast. In order to remain profitable I believe they need to become a little more aggressive in growing their market share and limiting the competitions growth into their niche markets. They need to notice that when offered equal value most people will pick the lowest price, but most people will also pay a little more for added value if the customer service remains. they have the customer service model down cold, they just need to remember what they know and make sure it is practiced at all levels. I think they are losing the edge they had as the new kids on the block and have become a little complacent and comfortable as they have grown. I think they are becoming so cost focused that they are forgetting that happy employees make for happy customers, they need to reaim some of their income growth toward rewarding their employees(salary wise) so that employees remain aware that they are a valued asset to the company, and can afford in the ever growing cost of living of our economy to work at the company and provide for their families. I do not see the same level of treating ALL employees as equal that I did even 2 years ago. they have always been looked at and admired because of their golden rule policy of treat every one as you want to be treated. They have great potential to reach the public, but they need to take a new more aggressive approach to marketing. Their ads used to be unique and zany and unexpected now they are just old and reliable. The world has grown so should your market strategy. If you want a company that has a heart and you are willing to help it acheive its goal to be the best most profitable airline in the world, its a good place to call your work home. They are growing as a internet presence and they have a good theory of keep it simple and easy and the business will come and in that area their market share has continued to grow. All said and done there are things about the company I'd like to see change to make it a better employer, but I'm glad I get to go to work and be happy and enjoy my job each day in a company that gives me the freedom to do that in an atomsphere that encourages that.
